Sejarah Pondok Pesantren API Annur
Sejarah Pondok Pesantren API Annur dimulai pada tahun 2016 . Setelah sebelumnya ngontrak di daerah Sidomulyo, satu tahun kemudian kami memberanikan diri membeli sebidang tanah di belakang Masjid Baturrahim.
Awalnya hanya ada 1-2 anak yang ngaji ke tempat kami, namun seiring waktu jumlahnya bertambah. Berbekal ilmu yang kami pelajari dari berbagai pondok pesantren seperti:
Pondok Pesantren Al Abror, Jawa Barat
Pondok Pesantren An-Nur, Kebumen
Pondok Pesantren Darissulaimaniyah, Trenggalek, Jawa Timur
Kami membeli sepetak tanah untuk asrama putra karena sebelumnya anak-anak tidur di kamar kami yang hanya berisi tiga tempat. Alhamdulillah, setelah asrama putra terisi, masyarakat ikut berpartisipasi membangun asrama putri . Santri putri pun mulai berdatangan walau awalnya mereka harus sekolah di luar karena belum tersedia sekolah formal di pondok.
Saat ini, Pondok Pesantren API Annur telah membuka pendidikan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) dan Madrasah Aliyah (MA) sebagai jawaban atas tuntutan zaman bahwa pendidikan saat ini tidak bisa hanya bersifat salafiyah tetapi juga harus mengikuti tuntutan zaman.
Kita pertahankan metode pelajaran seperti yang diajarkan ulama-ulama dulu, tetapi kita juga harus mengambil pelajaran-pelajaran atau pembelajaran-pembelajaran di era modern. Sebab, zaman dulu dengan zaman sekarang itu berbeda, dan zaman sekarang dengan zaman yang akan datang juga berbeda.
Maka pondok pesantren API Annur dalam metode pendidikannya mengikuti pondok-pondok yang ada di Jawa, yaitu:
“Mempertahankan pembelajaran secara salafiyah tanpa mengesampingkan pendidikan-pendidikan modern.”
Demikian, semoga Pondok Pesantren API Annur ke depan semakin maju dan semakin barokah.
